  • General Health Check

    This will involve looking at your pet's eyes, ears, skin, teeth and body condition. Their heart and respiratory rate will be checked, and a thorough full body check will be performed. You will also have time to ask your vet any questions.

  • Routine Surgery

    Our vets are experienced in a variety of routine minor surgical techniques including desexing, lump removals, wound stitch ups and more.

  • Major Surgery

    We have vets that have advanced training in surgery. This includes cruciate repair (tightrope, TPLO and De Angelis), brachycephalic airway surgery (BOAS), fracture repair, gastropexies and more.

  • Cancer Care

    We offer compassionate cancer care to all of our patients, which can include: chemotherapy, palliative care, surgery and other treatments that improve quality of life. This is all done under the advice of a specialist veterinary onocologist.

  • Palliative Care

    Keeping pets comfortable and pain-free towards the end of their life.

  • Dentistry

    Dental hygiene is an important part of our every day advice. Request a free dental check to find out about your pets dental health. During this appointment your vet will have a thorough check of your pets teeth and give you expert dental advice.

  • Radiology

    X-rays are used to diagnose disease in the chest, abdomen and musculoskeletal system. We also offer dental x-rays which help us provide in depth dental diagnostics. Our Ultrasonographer Dr. Silvana is on call if we need any further testing.

  • House Calls

    We understand that sometimes you are just not able to bring your pet to the vet. No matter the reasons, we are happy to visit your home to take care of your pet. This could include anything from a vaccinations, general health conerns or end of life care.

  • Free Dental Checks

    Dental health in pets is a big topic. We offer free dental checks to all patients. Call us and ask for a dental consultation to take up this offer.

  • 24/7 Vet On Call

    Emergencies often arise after hours and Emergency Centres can be costly. To help you avoid long waits and large vet bills, we have a vet on call 24/7 to assist when disaster strikes. Just call 03 9569 5353.

  • Cat Boarding

    We have cat boarding facilities that are completely indoors, shielded from outdoor elements and are temperature controlled. There are 21 condos and a large area equipped with toys and cat trees for a stimulating free roaming experience.

  • Hydrobath

    Our hydrobath is the perfect place to wash your dog. It is a combination between a bathtub and power bather that uses a specially designed recirculation pump. We provide everything you need from towels, dryer, shampoo, conditioner and brushes to make sure your dog comes out sparkling.

  • Nurse Grooming

    When your pet can’t go to the groomers or might need a little extra assistance in grooming themselves, we are here to help. Our nurse grooming services are available for nail clipping, clipping matted fur and cat lion clip.

  • Professional Grooming

  • Euthanasia

    Progressive Vet Care offers a euthanasia service that ensures you and your pet will be shown compassion and understanding during this difficult time. We offer the option for the appointment to be made in clinic or at your home.

  • Microchipping

    A microchip is a permanent method of electronic identification. The microchip number is recorded on a database registry with details about the animal and owner. Should your pet stray or become lost, vets, animal shelters and local councils can scan your pet for a microchip and contact you via the database.

    Desexing is a very routine surgery that is preformed every day. It is an important procedure in our pet community as it prevents unwanted pregnancies and other health consequences. All of our vets and nurses are very experienced and comfortable with completing procedure.
